My Simple Everyday Makeup Routine

My Simple Everyday Make Up Routine

Since going to work is a daily routine, I couldn't stand heavy makeup as I'm too lazy to re-apply it after the Zohor prayer. Also, eye shadow, contouring and all takes too much time and I wouldn't sacrifice my longer bed time just to do them. So here is my simple everyday makeup routine whenever I go to work.

Skincare - Clinique
After cleansing, I apply toner and moisturiser to clean my face before applying any makeup on. Clinique skincare works best for me when I started using them 8 years ago but I think they gradually losing their touch on me so I'm considering changing my skincare actually. Would you do me a favour to suggest some?

Foundation - Sephora Brightening & Hydrating Foundation, No 30
After the toner and moisturiser dried, I'll start to apply foundation all over my face, tapping them using a beauty blender I bought from H&M. Of all the foundations I've tried, this Sephora one really suits me and could almost cover my acne and dark spots that I don't really need to touch them up with a concealer.

Powder - Silkygirl Magic BB White Chiffon Powder Foundation, Code 02 Natural
I'll apply face powder on top of the foundation using a powder brush, also from H&M. I'm comfortable with Silkygirl for face powder, I literally had tried every face powder the store has and I love all of them.

Blusher - Silkygirl Blush Hour, Code 03 Flushing Rose
I apply blusher on my cheekbone to give some colour to my face since I don't do contouring nor highlighting. Silkygirl is basically my first ever make up brand that I used (and still is) so the blusher is Silkygirl's. I never tried other colour blusher as I'm afraid of the too-heavy makeup look but actually I'm considering it so please suggest me some!

Mascara - Maybelline Magnum Volume Express Waterproof
Even though my eyes are small (sepet), I dare to skip everything for eye makeup to save time but mascara is a must. Since I wear contact lenses, I'll look like a ghost if I don't have anything on my eyes. However, I suck at applying mascara on my bottom lashes, they're so short and sikit! Might as well say that I've tried every mascara they have in drugstores but this yellow Maybelline one is my current favourite.

Lip Balm - Mary Kay Satin Lips Shea Butter Balm
It's actually my first time using lip balm because I finally decided to care for my lips as it always get dry and cracked. I love the one I'm currently using, from Mary Kay.

Lipstick - IN2IT Moisture Intense Lipstick, Code MI 10 Cranberry
I don't know whether the sequence of my lips routine is right or wrong, but I'll apply lip balm first, and then the lipstick. I use this IN2IT lipstick since forever because I think the colour and moist finish suits me the best.

Makeup Remover - Simplisity Simply Dual Action Make Up Remover
Of course, ending the day with removing all the makeup to let my face breathe its fresh air.

I'm no beauty expert but I just wanted to share my simple make up routine with you guys.

Do we have the same routine?

Till then,
Lya.

    1. Actually Sephora is the only foundation I've tried other than drugstore foundations and Clinique. SO far it's the best. But I can't compare it to other high end brands like benefit as I never tried them before (I heard benefit has the best foundation)

  2. I only applied lip balm and baby powder, as in for now. I'm scared of applying make-up or even just a coat of apparent color of lipstick -______-'

    1. Try lah! Haha. But it's good actually to not being too dependable on makeup. I'm insecure of my bare face, lol.

  4. Love this post! Although I'm not really handy with wearing makeup. It's a skill I've yet to master! Looking fresh and alive is all I'm after. As for a suitable skin care product you were wondering to look into, you can try Mary Kay skin care products. They have different collections for different skin types and skin conditions. I've been using it for a month or so and it works really well on me. I'm an agent of Mary Kay, so if you're interested, you can email me here: syazwanizzati@gmail.com

Sekarang, Siqah apply compact powder, lipstick, dan blusher je. Itu pun hentam jela bab blusher. Asalkan ada nampak kat pipi jadilah. Hii.

Plan to learn simple makeup too <3

Siqah mekap sebab tak nak nampak muka pucat. Bak kata Lya juga di atas, more presentable dan sedap mata memandang. Gitu ๐Ÿ˜
