Eid 2019

Eid 2019

I hope it's not too late for this;

While thinking of what to write on this exciting period of the year, I viewed my older Eid posts. I realized I didn't once say that I'm sorry if my writing ever offended anyone reading them though it's the main thing you should do on Eid; apologizing and accepting apologies. I don't want to miss that this year, so I humbly ask for your forgiveness if I ever offended any of you through my writing here. Believe me, I never intend to hurt anyone.

After a few years of celebrating Eid in Manjung, this year my family and I celebrated Eid at Terengganu, my mother's hometown. We went to Terengganu on the first day of Eid, with the hope that the traffic wouldn't be that bad. We spent four days of Eid at Terengganu with the family of my mother's side while two days back in Manjung celebrated Eid with the family of my father's side.

Looking back at photos I took during this Eid, I felt a bit sad as Eid will never be the same anymore because as years go by, there will be someone missing in the picture. It's a part of growing up. But cherish every family gathering you're having nonetheless because you never know when will be your last. As much as I've enjoyed my Eid this year, I hope you guys enjoyed yours too! Share with me your Eid photos, I'd love to see them.

Happy Eid al-Fitr;
Selamat Hari Raya Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

With love,
Lya.
