I Figured That I Love Surprises

I remembered writing this(click) post where I talked about how I never got surprises my whole life before. So having never experienced it, while growing up, I tended to educate myself that surprises weren't that big of a deal. I lived by that and I was okay, at least until my birthday in 2019.

With now growing number of shops that offer surprise delivery, it's much easier to surprise someone. On my 26th birthday in 2019, I got my first birthday surprise, a surprise bouquet with brownies delivered to me at my office. Since I never expected it, I felt overwhelmed, happy and excited.

Then I went through the days as usual and never expect for another surprise ever again because I knew if I hoped too much, I'll just ended up being disappointed. So, I still thought that a surprise wasn't that big of a deal. But I guess I'm blessed with having people who're willing to surprise me so again, this year I got not just one, but two surprises.

It was just a couple of days ago, on my birthday in January. I guess getting a surprise is indeed a big deal. I didn't think that I love surprises that much but having these surprises for the last years I realized I love it so much to the point I'm expecting more (I should not!). I think it's not only us ladies but men love surprises too. So if anyone said that they hate surprises, they lied. Surprise someone you love if you could.

Anyway as you already knew, I'm currently working on my first step to achieving more in my life which is furthering my Masters. So at 27th years old, I'm beginning a new journey in my life. I hope it's not too late for me to dream a new dream. Wish me luck guys!
